Job Description

Our client, located near the Connecticut shore offers a full-time, direct hire, permanent job opportunity. An exciting opportunity available for a qualified Clinical Application Analyst, responsible for providing implementation and functional support of applications.  You will be training, preparing documentation, creation of reports and data extracts using various tools, troubleshooting, testing and implementing new application releases, and maintaining system/application dictionaries, data integrity and assisting with security. 

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelors degree in Information Technology or  related Clinical field of study is required (equivalent work experience in information technology, minimum of 5 years, accepted in place of Bachelors)

- 5+ years overall experience in an information technology support role for systems implementations, upgrades and maintenance activities.

- 3 years work experience in assisting with multiple systems implementations, upgrades and maintenance activities concurrently.

- 1 year work experience in clinical information systems.

- As a condition of employment, there must be evidence of progress towards attaining the HIMSS Certifications of Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS).

-This position requires 24x7 support.
